A serious incident was reported to have occurred yesterday evening at 7:30 PM in Llapashtica, Podujevo, where a person was killed by a hail of bullets inside his vehicle.

The victim has been identified as Bashkim Spahiu, a resident of the village of Gllamnik, who was shot to death with 10 bullets while standing inside his vehicle.

Kosovo Police have also managed to identify the perpetrator of the incident. Arbër Havolli is suspected of being the murderer, while the reasons for the crime remain unclear.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.

"Today at around 19:30, we received information about gunshots in the village of Llapashticë, Podujeva. Immediately, the necessary police units arrived at the scene, where they found a person with no signs of life. The death of the male victim was confirmed by the medical team at the scene. Currently, police investigators, in coordination with the state prosecutor, have launched an investigation to shed light on and clarify all the circumstances related to this case," said the spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti.
