The Israel Defense Forces killed six terrorists and arrested dozens of wanted individuals over the past two weeks in the northern West Bank, in what the military called “Operation Five Stones,” the army said in a statement on Friday.
The operation was carried out by the IDF's Menashe and Samaria Brigades, in cooperation with the Shin Bet, Border Police and the Air Force.
According to the IDF, the forces also questioned dozens of other suspects. The wanted individuals, as well as all weapons discovered during the operation, were transferred to the District Police and Shin Bet.
Israeli troops also discovered hundreds of thousands of shekels intended to finance terrorist activities. Weapons, including pistols, rifles, M-16s, knives and ammunition, were also discovered in the village of Tammun by the IDF's Maglan Unit. Books inciting violence and supporting Hamas were found at the scene.
