US President Donald Trump has toughened his language towards Iran, calling on it to allow ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The White House chief reminds Tehran that the deadline set for the Islamic Republic expires on Tuesday.
Trump says the US will target Iran's critical infrastructure, such as power plants and bridges.
"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, rolled into one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the damn Strait, you crazy bastards, or you will live in Hell - just watch! Praise be to Allah," Trump wrote on the social network Truth.
The White House chief has previously threatened to target Iranian energy facilities if Tehran does not reopen the crucial shipping route by his April 6 deadline.
Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz to American, Israeli and allied ships following the attacks on Tehran that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. The latest developments have caused a steady rise in oil prices on the international market.
Earlier, Trump shared new details about the rescue of the American pilot in the rescue operation in Iran, through a post on the Truth Social platform.
According to him, the seriously injured F-15 fighter jet crew member was extracted from the mountainous areas of Iran in a dangerous operation, while Iranian military forces were very close to capturing him.
Trump emphasized that he is a highly respected colonel and that the mission was among the most difficult due to the high risk to personnel and equipment.
He added that this was the second operation of this kind, following a previous mission where another pilot was rescued in broad daylight after seven hours of being stuck over Iranian territory, an action he described as unusual.
The US president described the intervention as an "extraordinary display of courage and professionalism" by US military forces.
