The head of the CIA visits Kiev, meets with Zelensky

The head of the CIA secretly traveled to Ukraine for a top-secret meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to share information on Russian military plans.

William Burns met with the Ukrainian president in Kiev where they discussed Russia's future maneuvers in the next phase of the war, sources told The Washington Post.

It came after the US announced a new $2.5 billion military package, including hundreds of armored vehicles and support for Ukraine's air defenses.

The donations came ahead of tough talks today in Ramstein, Germany where NATO defense ministers will meet to discuss future arms supplies to Ukraine.

Germany has indicated that it will not send its Leopard tanks to Ukraine unless the US sends Abrams. Abrams tanks were not included in Thursday's US announcement. Last night Zelensky said he expected "strong decisions" from the defense leaders of NATO and other countries.
