The Macedonian prosecutor, Gavril Bubevski, stated that there is information that the victim's mother recently sold the house, so this was also the motive for the girl's abduction.

Apartment in focus

The Minister of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia, Oliver Spasovski, said that this is an unprecedented crime, an isolated case, committed by monstrous criminals who wanted to gain material benefits, aware that the mother sold the apartment for some time.

" The case has been solved successfully and in its entirety, the evidence and confessions have been secured" , Spasovski said.
He said that the investigation of that case did not bring the desired result because both the girl and the 74-year-old man who also disappeared were found buried. , one near Skopje and one near Veles.

The father of the deceased was interrogated at the prosecutor's office and denied involvement in the abduction of his daughter, but was ordered to be detained for 48 hours due to the suspicion that it would affect the investigation.

However, the words of this family's neighbors from Skopje may reveal the deeper motives of Aleksandr, who shocked the region due to the fact that he allegedly participated in the kidnapping of his daughter.

Family secrets

Vanja, her friends and professors testify, was a cheerful, smart girl. On Monday, a week after her abduction and twenty hours after her body was found, Vanja's schoolmates, their parents and teachers, signed the Book of Mourning.

" It is painful for us to talk about everything. She was quiet and diligent, fulfilled her obligations, a girl who was not in any clan, got along with everyone, but I say, she was quiet. We only know that she was a wonderful girl who dreamed of the future ", a mother from Skopje, whose daughter attends the same school, told Jutarnji list.

As the journalists were convinced, no one in Skopje will speak openly about their suspicions as to why Vanja met such a terrible fate.
