Scholz: Germany to approve new military aid package to Ukraine

Germany is providing Ukraine with a new military aid package worth 1.1 billion euros. The new aid package will include obus, antiaerial weapons and missiles for air defense systems, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a joint news conference with Volodymyr Zelensky in Berlin.
"Today we are preparing a new aid package of 1.1 billion euros. "It's 36 armoured wheeled wheeled industrial-stock howiters, 120,000 munitions units, two Skynex systems and IRIS-T missiles," Scholz noted.
He also said Germany will share 1.7 billion euros to Ukraine this year and 6 billion euros in the coming years.
