"Russia Today", one of the largest Russian media, has broadcast a documentary on last month's tensions on the border between Kosovo and Serbia.
In a documentary entitled "Serbia: Signs of War", Kosovo is considered as a self-proclaimed state or as a region of Serbia.
In the report, a comparison is also made between the Crimea region in Ukraine that was annexed by Russia and the situation in Kosovo.
This documentary only talks about the life of the Serbs in the north of Kosovo.
"The conflict in Kosovo has flared up again. The latest unrest in the disputed region began after plans were announced to ban Serbian license plates and introduce permits for Serbs entering the Kosovo region.
Recently, Kosovo and Serbia reached an agreement on the postponement of this law on the mutual non-recognition of identity cards and license plates of Serbia and Kosovo until September 1.
It helped to mitigate the acute phase of the conflict, but it did not solve the essential problems between Serbia and the disputed region" - it is quoted in the documentary.
"Kosovo is a southern Serbian province currently occupied by NATO forces who are turning it into an artificial, criminalized state," says Fedja Dimovic, lead singer of Beogradski Sindikat.
"A growing number of people in Belgrade believe that the Serbian leadership has been slow to act, that it is time to resolve the Kosovo issue in the same way that Russia returned Crimea - that the region must return home" - provokes "Russia Today" documentary.
