A document named "Leptiri", found on Fatmir Sheholli's phone, has become part of the materials included in the indictment of the Special Prosecution.
According to the indictment, the document dates back to 2001 and is suspected to have been compiled by the Serbian State Security (RDB) structures. Its contents describe an operational plan related to the compromise and recruitment of Albin Kurti, while he was serving his sentence in Serbian prisons.
According to the description in the prosecution file, the plan envisaged the use of an operational source nicknamed “Leptiri”, through whom compromising materials against Kurti would be obtained. These materials, according to the indictment, could be used to exert pressure on him in order to cooperate with the RDB.
The indictment also states that the document "Leptiri" was distributed by Sheholli to several people and that he requested the translation of the document from Serbian to Albanian.
The prosecution considers these actions in the context of other materials and communications found on the defendant's phone.
According to the indictment, this data is relevant to assessing Sheholli's alleged contacts and connections with persons and structures associated with the Serbian security services, as well as his role in the transmission and distribution of materials suspected of originating from these structures.
The "Leptiri" document is one of the materials that the Special Prosecution Office has included in its argument against Fatmir Sheholli.
