Osmani: Congratulations to the citizens of Albania on opening the final chapters towards the EU, Kosovo celebrates with you

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today expressed her congratulations for the important step taken by Albania towards membership in the European Union, the opening of the final chapters of the negotiations.

Through a message addressed to counterpart Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama, as well as to the citizens of Albania, Osmani says that this is a historic step for the country.

Osman's message:

Congratulations to President Bajram Begaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama and the citizens of Albania on the opening of the last five chapters of negotiations with the EU, a historic step that demonstrates Albania's extraordinary commitment towards European integration.

This is a step that brings the citizens of Albania, as well as our region, even closer to the European Union.

The citizens of Kosovo celebrate with you today, as we continue to work tirelessly to further advance our country's path towards the EU.
