NATO is officially at war with Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. In a statement to Russian media, Peskov said that NATO is currently at war with Russia.
"NATO is fighting against Russia, this is clear and does not need additional proof. NATO is de facto involved in this war. NATO is providing direct and indirect support to the Kiev regime. That is why it can be said with absolute certainty that NATO is fighting against Russia. It can be said with absolute certainty that NATO is fighting against Russia. Moreover, diplomatic efforts to end the war are currently suspended. There is no flexibility on the part of Ukraine in this regard ," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Meanwhile, according to former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Russia would consider the protection of Ukrainian airspace by NATO forces as a declaration of war.
The current deputy chairman of the Security Council in Moscow wrote on his Russian Telegram channel that: "The implementation of the provocative idea of ??Kiev and other idiots to create a no-fly zone over Ukraine and shoot down our drones with NATO forces will mean only one thing - a NATO war with Russia."
The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, is threatening European states with consequences if they try to seize frozen Russian assets.
"Russia will follow EU countries until the end of the century ," the former president wrote on Telegram.
This comes after media reports that the EU Commission is considering using proceeds from frozen Russian assets to finance Ukraine. Russia describes any seizure of its assets as theft.
