A shocking incident has been recorded on the beach of Agios Nikolaos in Halkidiki, Greece, where a wolf attacked a 5-year-old girl.

According to Greek media, the girl is originally from Serbia and was there on vacation with her mother.

It is believed that the girl was playing alone on the beach, just a short distance from the tent where she was staying with her parent, and was then attacked by the wolf.

It was the girl's mother, along with a stone, who attacked the wolf with stones to drive it away from the 5-year-old girl.

The wolf managed to bite and scratch the child on the back, but fortunately her life is out of danger.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Organization for Wildlife and Nature has confirmed the presence of wolves and jackals in the area, while cameras have been placed around to record the animals' behavior.
