He died at the age of 68, the cuban-American actor Angel Salazar.

He was the "Chi-Chi" character in Scarface and Wallberto in Carlito's Way, but the roles were very similar: the assistant and right-hand man of Al Pacino's antagonistic characters in Brian De Palma's two films.

According to TMZ, he died in his sleep while at his friends' house. The cause of death has not been officially confirmed, but the Hollywood newspaper reports that the actor has been suffering from heart problems for some time.

Salazar became internationally famous thanks to his participation in the 1983 film Scarface.

He would return to acting with Al Pacino ten years later, directed by De Palma in carlito's wall. Among other acts, Salazar starred alongside Tom Hanks in the film Punchline (1988). His last film was the Premiere of Brooklyn, directed by Brooklyn-born director Eric Spade Rivas.
