Miracle under the rubble in Venezuela, mother and children are pulled out alive 11 days after the earthquake

A miracle has happened in Venezuela, devastated by the powerful earthquakes that struck the country on June 24. A mother and her three children have been pulled alive from the rubble after 11 days.

The rescue operation took place in the La Guaria area, one of the hardest hit by the June 24 earthquake. The family was trapped under the rubble of a residential building, where they had been isolated since the collapse.

According to authorities, the mother managed to keep her three children alive by breastfeeding them the entire time they were trapped. After an intensive search, emergency crews were able to locate and pull them alive from the rubble.

 Meanwhile, the consequences of the earthquakes continue to be severe. The official toll is 3,685 people who have lost their lives and 16,740 injured, while thousands of others are still missing.

The disaster caused extensive material damage, destroying or damaging around 60,000 buildings and leaving thousands of families homeless.

Authorities and experts warn that, in addition to the consequences of the earthquakes, there is also a risk of the spread of infectious diseases due to the lack of drinking water and difficult hygiene and sanitation conditions in the affected areas.
