Italy will open a giant factory for the production of Fiat cars in Serbia.
This was confirmed by the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, during the meeting with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Belgrade.
As Meloni declared Italy's strong support for Serbia's EU membership, she also emphasized the cooperation between the two countries for illegal immigrants.
While Vucic focused more on the economic aspect, confirming what has been rumored in recent weeks, Stellantis' decision to produce the new electric Panda at the factory in Kragujevac in Serbia, where until now the Fiat 500L has been produced.
So, from the Albanian government, Meloni has received "OK" for the construction of camps for housing thousands of illegal immigrants.
