On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights , the Prime Minister,  Albin Kurti, said that Kosovo reaffirms its commitment to protect the rights of all without exception and discrimination.

In a post on the X social network, he said that the country will continue promoting human rights.

"On the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Republic of Kosovo reaffirms its commitment to the Declaration, expressly provided for in our Constitution. We continue to work tirelessly – today and every day – to promote and protect the rights of all, without exception and without discrimination. Human Rights Day 2023", he wrote.

December 10 has been declared as International Human Rights Day in commemoration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights , adopted on December 10, 1948 by the United Nations General Assembly .

The General Assembly proclaimed this declaration as a general ideal that all peoples and nations should achieve, so that every person and every social organism strives to help, through learning and education, to respect these rights and freedoms.
