The video in which the former deputy prime minister of Australia, Barnaby Joyce, appears lying on the ground in a drunken state and talking nonsense, has caused strong reactions on the network.

The footage was recorded shortly before midnight last Wednesday on a street in the Brandon area. In the video, the 56-year-old politician is heard saying dirty words, while it turned out that he was talking to his wife.

Meanwhile, after the incident, the video, Joyce admitted that he had consumed alcohol after Parliament was adjourned at 10 p.m. that day.

"I made a big mistake. I have no excuse. But there is an explanation. I am on medication and there are side effects if I drink alcohol at the same time," the official tried to justify. However, the Nationals MP rejected calls to resign saying, however, that “this is not my decision. I'm not going to enter into an endless dialogue about what other people want me to do."
