The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina on Wednesday (January 15, 2025) filed an indictment against Naim Murseli, Granit Plavë, Kushtrim Kokalla and Tom Dodajt, who are charged with the murder of Liridona Ademaj on November 29, 2023.
"Oath for Justice" has secured the indictment of the Prosecution, which states that Murseli, Plava and Kokalla had previously agreed that the murder would be carried out by the accused Plava with an agreement that Murseli would pay him 30 thousand euros. The entire plan for the murder of Liridona was allegedly made by her husband, now the accused Naim Murseli, as a result of the disorder of family and marital relations, which gave rise to his desire for revenge.
The indictment states that initially the plan was revealed to Kokalla by Murseli, but he refused to find an opportunity to kill Liridona, and then Kokalla found Plava, with whom he had introduced Naim. Naim Murseli himself is said to have obtained the gun with 20 cartridges from the accused Tom Dodaj, from whom he bought it for 280 euros. With this gun, the murder of the now deceased was committed.
Naim Murseli's plan to murder Liridona, the staging of the robbery and the agreement to pay 30 thousand euros to Dorasin
According to the indictment, due to the disordered family and marital relations, during which anger and a desire for revenge arose in the first defendant Naim Murseli, the latter has now made a plan to remove the late Liridona from his life.
The indictment states that after June 25, 2022, when the life insurance policy in the name of Liridona Murseli was paid with the Folksam company, in the amount of 3,000,000 Swedish kronor, in order to have financial benefits after the murder, Naimi disclosed the plan to liquidate his wife to the third defendant (Kushtrim Kokalla) and asked him to find an opportunity to kill her.
The indictment states that initially, Kokalla refused and then found the second defendant, Granit Plava, with whom he introduced Naim Murseli and that the three agreed that Granit would commit the murder with an agreement that Naim would pay him compensation in the amount of 30 thousand euros.
Meanwhile, on November 29, 2023, Naimi is said to have obtained the firearm and 20 cartridges, which he purchased at around 2:00 PM on the same day from the fourth defendant Tom Dodaj for the amount of 280 euros, and which weapon he gave to the second defendant - Granit Plava.
Granit Plava, it is said that he used the weapon in question to kill the now deceased Liridona. This murder was committed on the same day in the evening, between 20:11 and 20:18 at the place agreed upon with Naimi, by staging it to look like a robbery, while Naimi cunningly held Liridona in the arm of her left hand with his right hand, so that she would not dodge the bullet, for which Naimi and the children got out of the car and left the scene.
With this, Naim Murseli is accused of having committed, in co-perpetration with the accused Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla, the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder" under Article 173, paragraph 1., points 1.3 and 1.4 in connection with Articles 31 and 34 of the Criminal Code.
Masked and with a pistol, Granit Plava shot Liridona in the head with a bullet.
According to the indictment, on November 29, 2023, between 20:11 and 20:18 in the village of Bërnica on the "Dalip Alshiqi" street in Pristina, the first defendant Naim Murseli, in the car in which the now deceased Liridona and their children aged 4 and 6 were, after a prior agreement, signaled with the lights of the car to the defendant Plava, for which he suddenly stepped in front of the car with a mask on his head and a pistol in his hands, while the defendant Murseli stopped and turned off the car's engine and held Liridona by her left arm with his hand, reports "Oath for Justice".
According to the indictment, the defendant Granit Plava, for compensation in the amount of 30 thousand euros, from direct proximity through the half-open window on the passenger side, fired a bullet from a pistol towards Liridona and shot her in the head, behind the right ear, causing fatal injuries, where she died at the scene. Her death, according to the autopsy report, came as a result of internal and external bleeding.
With this, Granit Plava is accused of having committed, in complicity with Naim Murseli and Kushtrim Kokalla, the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder" under Article 173, paragraph 1, point 1.6 in conjunction with Articles 31 and 34 of the Criminal Code.
In the third count of the indictment, Granit Plava is charged with possessing the pistol along with 19 cartridges, with which he committed the crime, without authorization and in violation of the Law on Weapons, from November 29, 2023 at around 2:00 PM to December 1, 2023 at around 4:15 PM, when a search was conducted at his house in Cërmjan, Municipality of Gjakova, where the weapon was found, without authorization and in violation of the Law on Weapons, which weapon Naimi purchased on November 29, 2023 at around 2:00 PM from the fourth defendant Tom Dodaj for the amount of 280 euros.

Kushtrim Kokalla introduced Granit Plava to Naim Murseli and they agreed that Granit would carry out the murder for 30 thousand euros.
The indictment states that after the first defendant Naim Murseli asked Kushtrim Kokalla to find a way to murder his wife - Liridona Murseli, and the latter refused, Kushtrim found the second defendant Granit Palava, with whom he introduced Naim, and the three agreed that Granit would commit the murder with an agreement that Naim would pay him compensation in the amount of 30 thousand euros.
According to the indictment, on November 29, 2023, Naimi obtained the weapon and 20 cartridges that he had purchased the same day at around 2:00 PM from Tom Dodaj for 280 euros, and gave them to Plava, who used the aforementioned weapon to kill the now deceased Liridona.
With this, Kushtrim Kokalla is accused of having committed, in complicity with Naim Murseli and Granit Plava, the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder" under Article 173, paragraph 1, point 1.13 in conjunction with Articles 31 and 34 of the Criminal Code.
Kokalla did not report the murder, even though Naimi had admitted it in the hotel room.
Kokalla is also accused of knowing that immediately after committing the murder of the now deceased Liridona, the defendant Naim Murseli (who admitted this while they were in the hotel room the same night after the murder) and the second defendant Granit Plava had committed the criminal offense, but the defendant Kokalla did not report the perpetrators or the criminal offense of murder, in the planning of which he actively participated together with Murseli and Plava, and in which case the competent authorities initially investigated it as a robbery until two days later when he was arrested (on December 1, 2023).
