She spent her husband's money on gambling and went to rob her

Shocking are the details surrounding the brutal murder of a 75-year-old woman in Salamis by her daughter-in-law.

The perpetrator confessed to the murder, explaining the reason why she entered her mother-in-law's apartment.

According to protothema.gr, the woman went to rob him of an amount of 1,100 euros, however, the situation got out of control after the victim recognized her.

She claimed that the 75-year-old had given her son a sum of 10,000 euros to keep, but the money was lost.

Someone took it (it has not yet been clarified who), while the murderer's husband decided to collect the money and return it to his mother.

He collected 8,000 euros and gave it to her with the promise that he would give her the remaining 2,000 soon. Finally, he managed to collect another 1,100 euros and was preparing to give it to his mother.

But one night, his wife, who is suspected of being addicted to gambling, took the sum of money and gambled with it, spending it all.

Then, to avoid being caught by her husband, she decided to sneak into her mother-in-law's house, take 1,100 euros, and return them to where her husband had left them.

And so it happened. Having access to the security cameras, she changed their direction so that they wouldn't film her, put on a mask and gloves, grabbed a hammer, and headed for her mother-in-law's house.

She broke a window, forced her way into the apartment, and began threatening the elderly woman, demanding money.

The mother-in-law apparently recognized her, and then the daughter-in-law took a bottle and hit her in the head, causing the elderly woman to fall to the ground. In a state of shock, she said, she took a knife and stabbed her.

After the crime, she returned to her home, washed the clothes she was wearing, and threw them in a trash can.

The incident occurred on October 31st and after a thorough investigation, they tracked down the woman, who confessed to the crime.
