Carlotta Dessì passed away at the age of 35.
The journalist of Mediaset, where she worked for several programs, lost the battle with a serious illness that affected her last summer.
In December, Dessì was back on TV for the first time, alongside Mario Giordano, in a wheelchair.
"You have to fight, not give up. One thing is clear, I am not alone. I haven't been for a moment since the first day I discovered my illness, 4 months ago. From that moment my life changed. It changed for me, for my family, for my partner", said the young woman at that time, giving a message of strength and courage to all viewers.
"I was immediately surrounded by a lot of love and affection, at every moment. I am surrounded by people and friends who have never left me alone and always give me strength, especially when fear prevails. They remind me to look ahead, think about the future and never give up ", expressed Dessì, underlining the importance of never giving up in the face of difficulties and always fighting, at all costs, against everything that blocks the way to happiness.
"I will win, in fact we will win. Thanks to everyone. But above all thanks to Mario Giordano and the Fuori del Coro program team. 5 months in the hospital, I'm very happy", she ended the message from the wheelchair that the illness forced her to, without ever losing her smile.
While 3 weeks ago, the journalist made her last post with a photo and where she wrote: "Don't be afraid. In these two words I have realized that the whole meaning of my life is found. Oh life. When you seek it, when you touch suffering and illness. Feeling even selfish. Fear makes you tremble and your mind wanders. But don't be afraid, Carlotta."
The 35-year-old worked in several Mediaset programs such as "Pomeriggio 5" and "Fuori dal Coro".
