Queen Elizabeth's bruised hands at the last meeting

On Tuesday when she formally nominated Liz Truss as the UK's new prime minister, she appeared smiling but frail with her cane and bruises on her hands, which may be from age but also from treatment needles.

After that photo of the smiling queen, perfectly manicured with the cane to lean on, as always... but with tanned hands. This is how the queen looked at the last public meeting, on September 6 at Balmoral Castle. Elizabeth died this afternoon September 8th.
