The spokesman of the European Union, Peter Stano, has said that the EU's proposal has not been made public as diplomatic efforts are ongoing. Stano answered the questions of TV Dukagjini, where he said that they will not disclose the official documents publicly as information that is considered a diplomatic secret. 

"We never disclose official documents publicly, nor do we participate in public exchanges about them while they are being discussed ," Stano said.

The EU spokesperson said that they expect the same from the partners, as this process is highly confidential. 

" Regarding the draft statute of the Association of Serbian Municipalities, we can only recall that a new balanced European proposal for the establishment of the Association of Municipalities was presented to the relevant partners by the EUSR for the dialogue of Belgrade in Pristina during his visit to the region at the end of the month of October. Then it was discussed with both sides during the leaders' meeting on the sidelines of the European Council ," said Stano.
