Massive accident in Japan

An accident involving 50 cars and trucks occurred on Friday evening on the Kanetsu Expressway in Japan.

One person lost his life, while 26 others were injured, 5 of whom are in serious condition.

Videos posted on social media show a large explosion and then a fire.

At the same time, black clouds of smoke rise into the sky.

According to reports, there was heavy snowfall at the scene, which made vehicle traffic difficult.

Authorities closed the highway in both directions for several hours.

The fire department managed to extinguish the flames late at night.
