The new justice institutions, adopted years ago, aimed at a radical reform throughout the system. On the one hand, Vetting, which was used as an instrument to remove judges and prosecutors that the majority did not want, and on the other hand, the new institutions that would control precisely the people of justice have been used routinely until now.

Scandals with decision-making, but also with the heads or members of these institutions, have often been in the center of attention. Some members of the High Judicial Council or the Prosecutorial Council have been accused of violations themselves. Some have also been taken as defendants, while the vision and mission of these councils has not even been implemented so far.

The HJC writes that "justice in Albania will be achieved when all citizens have confidence that they will be treated fairly and equally according to the law, by an independent, ethical and efficient judicial system". But, do citizens trust the new justice?!

Of course not, as surveys and polls again put justice at the forefront of corrupt institutions. On the one hand, the friend and on the other hand corruption have turned him into a gangrene that can hardly ever escape from this small country of ours. Their quotes that they "pledge to build an honest judicial system" seem to be only on paper, where the undesirable are punished and flee from the system and those who serve large groups from politics, business or even crime stay.

Contrary to what they write that the HJC and the courts pledge to treat all citizens as equals before the law, everything else is done in secret or behind the scenes. They even make amateur mistakes in the tenders they develop.

According to the documents available to VoxNews, the High Judicial Council has canceled the tender with the object of "purchase of software/ hardware for increasing cybersecurity capacities". The limit fund of the procedure was a total of 171 million ALL excluding VAT.

"The reasons for the cancellation is because it is found that the tender documents contain significant errors or deficiencies," the document reads. A sentence that quite clearly permeated the "integrity" of this Council. Who made these mistakes? If the new justice itself makes mistakes, what should citizens expect? Do these "mistakes" restore citizens' trust in justice?

These "mistakes" are also the subject of investigations by other law enforcement bodies, such as SPAK or district prosecutors. Even mistakes, if they are found to be a criminal offense or there are responsible persons, go to the Special Court or to other courts. However, the judges in these courts are appointed by the High Judicial Council. This is a cycle that does not allow these "mistakes" to ever be uncovered, despite the fact that the value of the tender is over 1.7 million euros. This is the new justice!
