After roads, investments in water supply and sewerage occupy the second main share of capital expenditures in the budget of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, with 21.1% of the total. Meanwhile, the budget monitoring report for the first 4 months of the year, published a few weeks ago, lists the priority projects where the spending of money is concentrated.

Referring to the document, there are a total of 23 projects that were financed in the period January - April, of which 19 are with internal financing and 4 others with foreign financing. Municipal Infrastructure, III, IV, V; National Program for the Modernization of the Water Supply and Sewerage Sector; the reconstruction of the internal network for the Durrë Municipality water supply and the Greater Tirana sewerage project are the 4 projects with foreign financing that are part of the list published by MIE.

Meanwhile, as far as internally financed projects are concerned, the projects mainly include interventions for water supply in rural areas of the country, while some of them also include coastal areas. Water supply in coastal areas Plazhi i Gjeneralit - Bardhor - Karpen - Synej, Municipality of Kavajë is one of these projects. Likewise, another funded project that affects the coastal areas is the aqueduct of the area of ​​Uji i Tohte and Lungomare, Rrapi Uji i Tohte - Navy School, in Vlora

Part of the list of projects financed in the first part of the year is the construction and systemization of the sewage system and the Bulqiza wastewater treatment plant; reconstruction of the water supply in the streets Kongresi i Përmet, J. Dyli and Haxhire, Elbasan; reconstruction of the water supply in 15 villages of the administrative unit Novoselë, etc.

✓ Regional water supply construction from the sources of Lopa Stream and Keta Stones, Phase I;

✓ Construction of the main water supply network for the villages of the Maqellar Administrative Unit and the distribution network for the village of Kirçisht i Sipërm;

✓ Construction of the drinking water supply line Gurra e Eperme-Luzni-Peshkopi;

✓ Drinking water supply for the villages of Brezhdan and Ushtëlence, nj. A. Center Tomin, Phase II;

✓ Construction of the Regional Water Supply for the Golaj administrative unit, for the villages of Dobrune, Qarr i sajal, Golaj, Nikoliq and Vlahen, Has Municipality;

✓ Reconstruction of the water supply in 15 villages of the administrative unit Novoselë;
