At the Tirana Oncology Hospital, where every day patients from all over Albania face long, tiring and emotionally challenging treatments, the Mane Foundation has implemented an important intervention that directly affects the quality of care and the way patients experience the treatment process.
Thanks to the donation of 30 new armchairs, modern parameters, as well as the improvement and expansion of the treatment space, the capacity for providing day therapy has now increased significantly.
Through this intervention, a new space for receiving chemotherapy was also created, and the room, equipped with special armchairs, is fully available to patients.
With the halls now in dignified condition, the Oncology Hospital has the capacity to treat all day patients.
The founder of the Mane Foundation, Samir Mane, personally visited the rehabilitated space, seeing the intervention up close.
"After being informed of the need, the Mane Foundation immediately responded to the situation, taking immediate measures to ensure that the poltrons arrived in record time, as well as to assist in the renovation of the facilities," he said.
Samir Mane promised that " We are ready to create these dignified conditions in hospitals in other cities, so that patients can receive chemotherapy treatment as close to home as possible !"
Prof. Dr. Helidon Nina, Medical Director of the Oncology Hospital, thanked the Mane Foundation for its support.
According to him, " the change is above all functional and now the conditions are optimal to treat approximately 100 patients per day, according to a plan that helps the patients themselves first and foremost ."
This commitment is part of the Mane Foundation's mission to support health and well-being in the community, investing where the impact is immediate and where change directly affects people's lives.
