Recognition of pensions with Italy, the Italian representative of the Ministry

From July 25 to 27, Senator Tommaso Nannicini (pictured with Rama, right), Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the control of the activities of the institutions that manage the mandatory forms of social security and social assistance, will pay a visit to Tirana.

He will head the delegation composed of representatives of the Ministry of Labor and the National Institute of Social Security.

The delegation will visit Tirana to negotiate with the Albanian side the agreement on the recognition of the pension and social security systems between Italy and Albania, with the aim of achieving the unification of social contributions for those citizens who have worked in both countries.

During the visit, the Delegation will hold meetings with the Deputy Minister of Finance, Olta Manjani, as well as with technical experts in the field of legislation and agreements on social security.

The Press Conference regarding the communication of the results achieved during the first negotiation meeting will be held near the Italian Residence on July 27 at 12:30 p.m.
