
A total of 106 complaints were addressed to the Public Procurement Commission for the month of April, making it the month with the highest number of complaints this year. But what do the numbers say in the time frame of 4 months?
By calculating, in total from January to April, economic operators have delegated 295 complaints to the Public Procurement Commission.
But what have they complained about the most?
For the month of April, in terms of complaints according to the stage of the process for which the complaint was submitted, there are 46 for Standard Tender Documents and 60 for Bid Evaluation. As for complaints according to the type of contract, 12 for public works, 72 for goods and 22 for services.
Looking at the geographical extent of the complaints, like every month, even in April the complaints were focused on the district of Tirana registering 58 such complaints. Fieri is the second district with the highest number of complaints where 14 have been registered, while those of Durres, Shkodra and Vlora have 7 complaints respectively. Korça district with 6 complaints and Elbasan registered only 5 such complaints. But with one complaint each district has registered that of Dibra and Berat.
To focus on the financial data for the month of April, KPP has collected about 5.8 million ALL as a guarantee for procurement procedures, while the financial fees to be paid to the State Budget at the end of the review of the procurement procedures are over 2.1 million ALL .
