Oil increased by 38 lek since the dissolution of the Transparency Board (and is expected to increase even more)

Filling up your car's gas tank costs more today than it did just a week ago.

At many gas stations, diesel has increased from around 204 lek to 214 lek per liter, while gasoline has followed the same trend. 

Even though it is an increase of 10 lek per liter, the impact is significant for drivers who use the vehicle every day.

For an average deposit of 50 liters, the additional cost amounts to about 500 lek compared to a week ago.

Regarding diesel, the current price per liter has increased by approximately 38 lek compared to the price left in force by the Board before it was dissolved.

Meanwhile, gasoline has increased by 33 lek from the price of 166 lek according to the board's last decision.

If the trend in international markets continues to increase, it is not excluded that prices at gas stations will change in the coming weeks.
