"The price of fuel increased by 32 lek, in Europe by only 16" - Erion

The price of oil in the country has increased again, reaching 206 lek per liter today.

This situation has brought the reaction of Socialist Party MP, Erion Braçe.

He demands the reinstatement of the Transparency Board, arguing that traders did not reflect price cuts in international markets, while they are applying increases immediately.

According to Braçe, over the last three weeks, when the price of oil on international stock exchanges was falling, the price in Albania remained unchanged.

He emphasizes that while in European countries the price of fuel at points of sale has increased by about 16 cents, in Albania the increase has been about 32 cents per liter.

The MP also raises concerns about the price of gas, emphasizing that it has not decreased and that, according to him, not even during the time when the Transparency Board was operating was any decision made about this product.
