About 25 thousand cannabis plants were destroyed in Velipoja. 4 parcels of cannabis have been discovered in a wooded area, the drug is suspected to have been cultivated by 3 brothers who have been identified and wanted.

From the intensive controls of the territory, 24,759 cannabis plants were destroyed in Velipoja.

3 citizens (brothers), suspected as perpetrators of the cultivation of these plants, are identified and declared wanted. 

Two OSHEE employees are being prosecuted for abuse of office.

Following the national police mega-operation, coded "Clean Territory", 1 other case of cultivation of narcotic plants was identified and dealt with in Velipoja.

The services of the Velipojë Police Station, in cooperation with the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and the Shkodra Police Station, in the village of Rrjoll, in the place called "Maja e Zeze", found and destroyed 24,759 cannabis plants. As a result of professional police investigations and actions:

- the suspected perpetrators of the case, citizens MN, 30 years old, PN, 36 years old, and LN, 32 years old, all three residents of the village of Rrjoll, were identified and declared wanted;

In addition, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizens T. Sh., 61 years old, and PM, 61 years old, both residents of Velipoja, employees of OSHEE, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty". , as it is suspected that they did not establish the illegal electricity connection that was created for this criminal activity. 

The work continues for the identification, capture and prosecution of other citizens implicated in this criminal activity.
