George Pergegaj

This is 29-year-old Albanian Gjergj Përgegaj , who was shot dead in Arezzo by a fellow countryman out of jealousy.

According to Italian media, he was shot by his ex-girlfriend's current partner, a 35-year-old man, who found him talking to the young woman, of Romanian origin, after finishing his shift as a waiter.

The incident occurred yesterday evening, when the perpetrator, after seeing them together, lost control and pulled out his gun, shooting three times at the victim.

After the crime, the perpetrator fled the scene, but was arrested a few hours later by the police without resistance.
