After the government meeting, Prime Minister Edi Rama told the media that he will question the complete closure of social networks such as TikTok and Snapchat.

Rama: Two days ago, big and small were shocked by the murder of a 14-year-old. Our child-rearing efforts are challenged by social media.

The right answers to these questions are not simple.

Similar initiatives have been taken to ban online accounts in social networks.

Our dilemma as a government is whether we should also go in the direction of installing filters, or take a drastic measure to close TikTok and Snapchat in the Republic. We have decided to put this dilemma up for discussion in the entire parenting community.
