Three people have been arrested by the Tirana police, as they are suspected of being the perpetrators of the theft of valuables in an apartment in the capital.

The police say that LB, 25 years old, EX, 21 years old, and DM, 23 years old, all three residents of Fushë Krujë, were arrested after they entered the apartment and took items worth about 15 thousand euros.

In the security camera videos, one of the perpetrators is filmed entering from the terrace of the palace, then they are seen leaving the streets of the capital with bags.

Citizen FC, 34 years old, a resident of Fushë Krujë, who is the owner of a jewelry store that bought the stolen items from the perpetrators, was also arrested.

Police notification:

Services of Police Station No. 6 and those of the Krujë Police Station, maximum commitment to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, the crackdown on criminal activities in the field of property theft and the criminal responsibility of the citizens who commit them.

The codenamed "Falco" police operation ends.

They stole items worth about 15,000 euros in an apartment, 3 citizens were arrested.

A 34-year-old, owner of a jewelry store, who allegedly bought the stolen items from the 3 suspected perpetrators, was also arrested.

The stolen items, the vehicle in which the perpetrators are suspected to have moved, the clothes they used during the thefts, as well as their mobile devices, are seized.

Services of Police Station No. 6 in cooperation with those of the Krujë Police Station, following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, the attack on criminal activities in the field of property theft and bringing the perpetrators to criminal responsibility, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Falco".

During the operation, the following citizens were arrested:

- LB, 25 years old, EX, 21 years old, and DM, 23 years old, all three residents of Fushë Krujë, for the criminal offense "Theft" committed in collaboration, provided for by article 134/25 of the Criminal Code;

- FC, 34 years old, resident in Fushë Krujë, for the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", provided for by Article 287 of the Criminal Code.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that, on 13.09.2024, on "Astrit Losha" street, the citizen DB guarded the citizen LB, who entered an apartment and stole valuables (bags of expensive brands and other accessories ) worth about 15,000 euros. Then their accomplice, citizen EX, took these two citizens in a vehicle and drove them away from the scene.

As material evidence, some of the stolen items found in the shop of citizen FC were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office.
