The parliamentary session planned to be held the next day, has been postponed after the death of former MP Gerti Bogdani.

The session will take place at a different time, while former fellow deputies, friends and relatives will participate in the tributes for the death of the former democratic deputy.

Gerti Bogdani died as a result of a heart attack today, in the premises of the Rogner hotel in Tirana. He expressed concern to his friends while he was drinking his coffee, and left for the bathroom.

The door had to be forced open as friends found him collapsed on the ground. Bogdani was urgently sent to the hospital, but despite the efforts of the doctors, he did not come back to life.

Gerti Bogdani was 44 years old and left behind two children, a daughter and a son, as well as his wife, the activist Edlira Çepani.
