Victim Sajmir Beca

A 30-year-old Albanian man, identified as Sajmir Beca, has tragically lost his life after being crushed by a garbage truck in Northampton, England.

The Sun reports that the 30-year-old was sleeping inside a bin. The serious incident happened on October 31 on Wellington Street, where neighbours reported being woken by loud screams in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and rushed Sajmir to Coventry Hospital. Despite medical intervention, the young man did not survive his injuries and died on November 6.

His friends, shocked by the loss, said that Sajmir had previously sought shelter with various people, but after not finding a place to stay, he ended up sleeping on the street.

British authorities are continuing their investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.
