Accident at work, 36-year-old Albanian dies in Italy (NAME)

A 36-year-old Albanian man has tragically lost his life in a work accident in Pozzallo, Italy. He has been identified as Artur Deliu. The Albanian was reportedly hit by the mechanical arm of a concrete mixer on Monday while working on the roof of a building under construction. Another person was also seriously injured in the accident.

The Albanian did not survive the injuries he sustained and died at the scene. Deliu is said to have been married and had two children. The 36-year-old will be buried in Albania, in his hometown of Tirana. He had lived in Italy for several years, initially in Brescia and then moved to Sicily.

The investigation into the tragic event is ongoing by authorities to clarify the dynamics and safety conditions. They are verifying whether the equipment was in good working order, whether maintenance had been performed, and whether the concrete pump had undergone periodic checks to ensure its efficiency and safety.
