The police of Tirana have been able to completely solve the brutal attack on the lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi, identifying and declaring the 4 perpetrators wanted, as well as unraveling the motives of the serious event.

The director of the Tirana Police, Tonin Vocaj, in a statement to the media said that the lawyer Mêngjesi was hit because of his duty as he was a representative of a family in Tirana that won the trial for the properties but did not accept the implementation of the contract with the law firm.

Vocaj said that the authors are Dorian Alia, Drivald Alia, Elton Kasaj and Romario Tabaku, all of whom are related to each other. After the event, Romario Tabaku was the one who helped the perpetrators leave with an "Audi" type car with license plate "AB 696 JT".

As the organizer of the event, the citizen Dritan Nano was accompanied to the police.

"The lawyer has represented a party that won the court process for property on both levels. But this party, the winning party, did not agree on the implementation of the contract with the law firm", said Vocaj.

The Director of the Tirana Police said that the perpetrators are already accused of "attempted murders of public officials".

So, one of the perpetrators, Dorian Alia, surrendered to the police, while the other three are suspected to have left by taxi in the direction of "Astiri".
