Meteorologist Tanja Porja has stated that today will be the last day with such high temperatures, like those typical of autumn.
Porja said that the rest of January is expected to be with quite low temperatures, typical of a 'wild' winter.
She also said that temperatures during these days in our country have been high, 19-20 degrees Celsius, also due to the southerly wind.
"It's a matter of hours, a matter of 48 hours, for the weather to change completely. We will probably see these high temperatures of 19 or 20 degrees Celsius from February or March, as in the coming days we expect very low temperatures, much lower than typical winter temperatures."
Today we have a drop in temperatures of at least 2 degrees, mainly in the northern areas, a smaller drop in the central and southern areas. There will be clear skies and temporary cloudiness, but no precipitation. The minimum of 2 degrees is maintained in mountainous areas.
"There will be mainly rain, while snowfalls during today are expected at altitudes above 1500 meters. We will have short-term showers from time to time in the north-western edge of the territory. The wind with average speed continues to be southerly, which is why we have such high temperatures," said meteorologist Porja/A2
