Police have provided details on the gunshots reported yesterday evening in Elbasan.

In a statement distributed to the media, the Blues announced that an inspection of the suspected shooting site did not find any bullet casings or bullets.

Announcement:

On 28.11.2025, at around 20:30, citizen FP, 66 years old, reported to the Police that he had heard gunshots near his apartment, in the "Vullnetari" neighborhood.

The Police and the investigation team immediately arrived, and after examining the place where the shooting was suspected, they did not find any shell casings, and in the upper part of the apartment where it is suspected that a gunshot was fired once, no bullets were found. Work continues to clarify the circumstances, as well as to identify and capture the perpetrator.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, for further action.
