The Special Prosecution Office has expanded the investigations into the government's number two, Belinda Balluku , for whom the Court today imposed the measure of suspension from duty and a ban on leaving the country.

In addition, the Special Court also approved the house arrest measure for the director of the Albanian Road Authority, Gentian Gjyli, and the head of the Albanian Energy Corporation, Eduard Elezi.

In addition to the tender for the Llogara tunnel, Balluku and her subordinates have also been investigated for the tender for the fourth lot of the Great Ring Road in Tirana.

This tender, worth 19 million euros , was won by the merger of the operators " Alko Impkeks General Construction " shpk and "2 T" shpk .

The company "Alko Impeks General Construction" is a foreign branch of the company with the same name registered in Kosovo.

This company is part of the "Usluga" group, founded by former socialist MP Sadri Abazi.

The company is currently managed by the nephew of the former MP, Arbër Abazi.

While the other company, "2T" is owned by Artan Sako (brother of the mayor of Tepelena) and Dritan Troksi.

Six economic operators participated in the tender, five of which were disqualified.
