SPAK puts businessman Ermal Beqiri on the radar, BKH carries out inspections at the offices of "Soft & Solution"

Businessman Ermal Beqiri, one of the most powerful names in the information technology market and beneficiary of a large number of public tenders, has entered SPAK's radar.

It is learned that BKH officers have conducted inspections at the premises of the company "Soft & Solution", owned by businessman Ermal Beqiri.

It is not known whether these checks are related to tenders won by the company or are part of a broader investigation.

"Soft & Solution" remains one of the largest beneficiaries of public contracts in the information technology sector.

Beqiri became known to the public in 2021, when he was an electronic engineer and director of IT at the University of Tirana and was called as an expert in the trial against Ilir Meta at the High Court.

He, along with a group of colleagues, conducted technical expertise on the video known as "Meta-Priest".

The expert concluded that the video was doctored and that its content was taken out of context and used as evidence in the Supreme Court's decision to declare Meta innocent.
