All Orthodox believers celebrate Easter today. At midnight, they filled the churches all over the country where they attended the mass of Christ's resurrection. The ceremony lasted until after midnight, and after that, Easter eggs dyed red, the color of Christ's blood, were struck with the arrival of the day marked for all Orthodox Christianity around the world. A message for this holiday came from President Bajram Begaj who congratulated the believers and wrote that it brings the revival of life and marks a new start.

In Tirana, the mass was celebrated in the Resurrection Cathedral, under the direction of Archbishop Anastas. In Berat, the Easter ceremony was celebrated in the "Saint Dhimitri" Cathedral and was led by Father Johan Qako and attended by hundreds of believers. They received light from God's light, lighting the light candles that every Orthodox believer carries with him in his home, as a sign of goodness and hope to receive God's blessing. Midnight, which also marked the resurrection of Christ, culminated in the central square of the city, outside the "St. Dhimitri" Cathedral, where all believers illuminated the city with the light of God, with candles in their hands.

Even in Vlora, mass was held in the Saint Theodhori church. Believers received the message that on this great day the victory of life over death, of light over darkness and of love over hate is shown. In Saranda, with prayer candles in their hands, believers have celebrated Easter.

The color red symbolizes the blood of Christ and their collision symbolizes the breaking of the power of Hell with the resurrection of Christ. Eggs are a symbol of the birth of life from the shell of death. The word Easter is associated with the word bright, indicating or symbolizing the light that comes from the tomb of Christ.

Even to strengthen the brightness of Easter, the faithful take the light through decorated lamps, which the clergy take from the flame of the unextinguished candle of the Holy Table, which symbolizes the tomb of the resurrected Christ, and take it to their homes, making the cross on the threshold of the house and keeping this flame unextinguished for 40 days.
