Fiks Fare discovered another scandal regarding the matriculation certificate, which can be obtained against payment without taking a single day of class. Adrian Cani, a physical education teacher at the 9-year-old school "Adem Bedalli" in Peqin, bargains for the sale of high school diplomas for 3 thousand euros.
Former high school principal in the city of Peqin, today a teacher in a 9-year-old school, Cani promises a high school diploma for 3 thousand euros.
Adrian Cani is simultaneously an external lecturer at a private university in Krycete, but also vice-president of the Democratic Party in Peqin.
But how was the scheme discovered by the show Fiks Fare? Immediately after the information that arrived at the editorial office of the show, a colleague of Fiks got interested in teacher Cani.
Without any shyness in the bargain, Adrian Cani asserts a maturity certificate against the amount of 3,000 euros to Fiks's co-worker. And the money had to be given in advance. It would also be good if the interested persons, according to the teacher, were over 38 years old. So people who in 2005-2006 were of high school age. This is because the following years all the data have been entered into the system, while the previous years are still in handwritten registers. This allows them to add names to these registers.
Everything is regular, as the teacher claims with a registration number, and easily verifiable if you go to the institution where this receipt comes from.
The teacher asks for the money at first as he says he has been burned several times and had to put money out of his pocket. It also requires complete information on the interested person who wants to be parted with a certificate, that at the age that corresponds to high school, he has not been in prison. "I gave him the receipt as if he was in high school while the person was serving his sentence in prison. I'm burned and that's how it is," says Adrian Cani.
Having agreed in principle on the price, Cani asks Fiks's associate for early photos and the identity card of the interested person. "For a week or a little more, the receipt comes out after that," says the teacher.
But in addition to being a teacher, Adrian Cani also holds another party position, where he does not forget to mention political names. To prove that this is true, Fiksi's colleague meets the son of the candidate for mayor in Peqin and he confirms Adrian's position in PD. He holds the post of deputy president of the Democratic Party in Peqin.
Fiks journalists, after learning the teaching schedule of teacher Cani, call him and go to the 9-year school.
The school director explains to the journalists that the teacher did not come that day, nor did he inform the school that he would be absent.
In the phone call with journalists, the teacher preferred not to give any explanation about the sale of the high school diploma, but only used insulting words for the Fiksi associate who recorded it.
