In the next session for the "Gërdeci" case, the lawyers of the former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, request that a new financial expert act be performed, since, according to them, in the performance of the first act, the experts were not independent, but an appendix of the investigation group.

Prosecutor Klodian Braho stated that: " We do not see any additional arguments for this to be a new expert report" .

The 5 experts who made the previous act were presented at the session.

The experts presented to the court have asked for time to refresh once again all the conclusions made in the first act. Also, two of them did not administer the expertise act at all.

Debits in session:

Klodian Braho : We wanted to know if the experts are familiar with the act of expertise?

Experts : We definitely need to get to know the expertise. We are asking for time to familiarize ourselves with the act because it has been happening since 2008.

Ymer Stafa:  I have the act!

Rasim Metallari : We have our copy from that time, we don't need it. I don't need the act for myself. We will discuss it among colleagues

Latif Çela : I want to clarify our position. We are not licensed experts, our report cannot be taken as expertise. We have done a documentation verification, we have given an opinion to the prosecutor of the case, but no expertise. We have provided the specialist opinion that has been requested of us

Irena Gjoka : Is that what it means to have performed a false expert act?

Latif Çela : Absolutely not, we were not called as experts.

Mondi Hoxha : We need time to get to know each other!

Fatmir Mediu : This whole situation shows a tendency to continue in absurdity. The experts here indicate that they did not have the quality of an expert and did not take an oath.

This shows that there is no desire on the part of the prosecution to delve into the truth. This process is all formal, without any substance to get to the truth. I think there is a need for a new act-expertise. Let's not process just to pass the queue.

After these discussions, the Court decided to postpone the hearing for Media, to give time to the experts to familiarize themselves with the act. The next session was decided to be held on June 26 at 09:00.
