Albanian caught with 4.4 kg of cocaine and weapons in Italy

A 26-year-old man was arrested in Savona on charges of possession of narcotics with intent to distribute and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

At the bar where he owned, police found several doses of cocaine packaged and hidden inside a jar in the kitchen area, according to Italian media.

Agents also conducted searches at three apartments owned by the suspect, also in Villapiana.

There they discovered over 4 kilograms and 400 grams of cocaine, packed in packages.

Along with the drugs, they also seized money, packaging materials, and two scales.

The drugs, ready to be dumped on the Savona market, have an estimated commercial value of over 350 thousand euros.

During the operation, officers also found a Beretta Mod.34 semi-automatic pistol, hidden in one of the apartments with a magazine and ammunition.
