The rains of the last few days continue to cause problems in our country, on some road axes. The Civil Emergencies Authority informs that Shkodra is more problematic, as there are currently over 1 thousand hectares of land flooded by water.
It is learned that Oboti street has 55 cm of water and Oblika 1 water supply is out of order. In this district, some road axes are reported to be impassable as a result of the snowfall.
As a result, the part of Qafë Thorë near the panoramic tunnels continues to be blocked, as well as the Bogë-Theth axis. Meanwhile, in some other axes, such as Qafë Mali-Fierze or Tamarë-Vermosh, snow removal is being done to keep them open.
The Klos-Bulqize road axis has been damaged by heavy rains. In the Plan i Bardhë village segment, there has been a continuous fall of stones on the asphalt, putting the lives of road users at risk.
Drivers say that the situation is such that every time it rains, masses of stones end up on the asphalt.
Even in the district of Lezha, the rains have continued with high intensity during the last evening, but without presenting problems and danger for the residents, while in the river Drin, the quota of flows has fallen.
The calm situation also appears in the district of Fier. So far, there are no reports of problematic situations and there has been light rain during the night.
The district of Gjirokatra has also faced heavy rainfall. Local authorities report fallen trees on Memalija road and several others. Despite the intensity of rains and storms in this region, it is reported that energy and drinking water have been restored in all areas.
Unlike Gjorkastra, Korça district has been affected by snowfall since last evening, which continued until Saturday morning. The authorities inform that on Dardha road, the passage of vehicles is done only with chains.
In other axes, the circulation of vehicles takes place without problems, while the use of winter tires is recommended.
