A day after a fight between several young people in Korça, the Police have arrested a 19-year-old. According to the police, during the conflict the young man stabbed a 15-year-old. The minor is in hospital, fortunately out of danger.

The 19-year-old is charged with the crimes of "Intentional serious injury", "Disturbance of public order and peace", committed in collaboration, and "Unlicensed production and possession of cold weapons".

Meanwhile, four others will be investigated while at large, including an 18-year-old and 3 minors.

As material evidence, the blues seized a vehicle and a piece of wood that was suspected to have been used during the conflict.

 "Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, regarding a conflict between several citizens, in neighborhood no. 2, Korça, we would like to inform you that:

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Korça Police Commissariat arrested citizen AP, 19 years old, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury", "Disturbance of public order and peace", committed in collaboration, and "Unlicensed production and possession of cold weapons" and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen AM, 18 years old, and 3 minor citizens, residents of Korça (two of them 17 years old, the other 15 years old). 

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens have physically clashed with each other and with hard objects, for weak motives. Citizen AP is suspected of having injured the 15-year-old with a cutting tool, who is in the hospital, out of danger to his life.     

"A vehicle and a hard object (wood) suspected of being used during the conflict were seized as material evidence," the police announced today.
The procedural materials were referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action.
