One of the residents of the building that was engulfed in fire yesterday near the QSUT, has given a statement to the media in which he indicated that he lost his apartment to the flames.

He said that he bought the house 2 years ago for 150 thousand euros, adding that he spent the night outside, as he has nowhere to stay in Tirana.

"The house burned down, I bought it two years ago for 150 thousand euros. It was burned down. I slept outside, I'm from Dibra, I have no one here ," said the citizen who lost his house.

Around 70 apartments are suspected to have been burned by the fire, which was of large proportions.
