In the session that is being held today at the GJKKO Appeal, Fredi Beleri has once again repeated the claims that he was arrested "at the request of the prime minister."

While he was behind bars, the elected mayor of the Himara Municipality declared that he has a clear conscience, adding that the evidence was manipulated.

"The lawyer was exhaustive, she presented all our claims. It is clear that I was arrested at the Prime Minister's wish. Evidence has been tampered with and I have a clear conscience. Also, you who will make a decision, I wish you to have a clear conscience."

Meanwhile, Beler's lawyer demanded that the decision of the First Instance and the declaration of innocence of her client be overturned, since, as she said, the criminal fact does not exist.
