The "head-eating" road in Shkozet, residents: 7 fatal accidents!

This is the intersection of the "Dervish Hima" road with the Ring road in Shkozet of Durres. Residents say that there have been about 7 fatal accidents in this country in recent years.

"This road has just started working, it has eaten people's heads since the beginning. 7 people have died here", says a resident.

They have denounced the lack of investments by the Municipality.

"One day I was at the City Hall, and he told me that it has come out as a fund and that I had to go to the engineer. The latter then told me that the fund was not approved by the Municipality", said another resident.

They say that they complained several times but there was no solution. " We don't know where to go, where to complain. Is there a state or not?! What do we do now ?", said the revolted resident.

Several times they have collected money themselves for investments. " Here we drown when it rains. We have fixed the road ourselves and year after year the whole neighborhood has thrown money here ", said the resident.

According to the residents, the students of a nearby school are really in danger as they appeal for intervention from the Municipality of Durrës, which has informed them how many times they have complained.
